Hi everyone. This was one of those not so hot and not so cold but pollen filled days. So the day started a little hectic with giving Serena allergy and asthma medicine and then taking her to school. Me and Sharjeel decided to go to Corner Bakery for a quick bite to eat and took our laptops with us since we both working from home and then rushed back home to do even more work. Then around noon we decided to take some pictures at a convenient location AKA outside our house. We took some pictures and then I rushed to pick Serena up from school. When Serena saw me she told me that I look like a Peacock (Did not know if it was a complement or ?) and then after a long discussion about what did you learn in school today? and how was your day? It was her turn to ask questions and she asked me what we were going to do today. I told her mommy plans on cleaning the garage and immediately she decided that since she is a big-kid she has to help mommy.
After arriving home she ate lunch and helped mommy with the cleaning or it was more of ‘mommy whats that for?’ ‘mommy can I touch this” or ‘I was looking for this toy” but then after a few minutes she laid her eyes on her prized possession and asked me you think I can drive my ‘mini cooper’ and since the weather was not terrible I told her after the cleanup she can take a quick shower and then she can drive it. So, of course within the next 2 minutes she was all done with cleaning and wanted to get ready for her ride. So, we cleaned up and once again nicely asked our on-hand photographer to take some pictures with the ride.
I loved this skirt. It was a perfect length and fits loose but really well. Anytime there is silk involved I try not to get the piece too fitted because then the fitting does not have flow and the fabric just sticks to the body. I bought this skort in one size bigger then what I usually wear just so it has a nice fitting. Once again I know my hair looks messy but that’s how I like it most days 🙂

I love the smocking on this 100% cotton dress (reminds me of my childhood dresses) The fabric is light-weight and the boho-Paisley print is adorable. I am usually very careful with the strapy dresses because they tend to fall of the shoulder easily but this dress had a nice fit on top.
