Happy Friday everyone. If you are on east coast then I hope you are all ready for the snow blizzard coming our way. I am excited to snuggle with my family, play with snow and do some snow shoveling. Since friday’s are my fusion or eastern wear days on the blog. Your desi girl is  excited to share two new eastern looks.

The first look is a Sapphire Lehenga. I am in love with this sapphire lehenga (long skirt) and choli (crop top) for so many reasons. First the color combination is out of this world. It has so many intricate details.

Happy Friday! Today I am doing something very different on the blog. I am bringing South Asian fashion right in your homes. I have always loved Indian & Pakistani clothes. My love for fashion started in Pakistan with picking unique prints in the market. Then spending countless hours finding the right pants, right slip, the perfect lace and then the perfect tailor too. It didn’t end their then I would spend time at the color-dye stores to perfectly match a scarf (dupatta) with the outfit and once it was ready to my eyes it was a perfect piece of art that I created. I remember one time getting floral embroidery done on a striped pattern outfit and everyone thought I was crazy but that was my personal style and it has stayed that way over the years and so I have always had deep respect for South Asian designers both in India & Pakistan.
